Location Manager Roles + Responsibilities

Our location managers’ primary objective is to provide the highest level of customer experience from start to finish. This objective will be achieved by obtaining a very high level of proficiency in the process flow of the operation and ensuring that all parties involved (i.e., customers, employees, vendors) are adhering to them. Coordination of schedules among all parties will also be necessary. Lastly, maintaining high morale among all involved is key. A leader should rise above and beyond.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Be fully proficient with the Operations Manual for Fann’s Philly Grill

  • Obtain ServSafe managers’ certification

  • Be available for a site analysis

  • Be able to coordinate meetings with different teams to ensure the business is being run correctly

  • Be involved in the scorecard development process to help employees maintain their growth targets as well as daily sales

  • Train and recruit cashiers, grill cooks and prep leads for each station the employee will work in

  • Must attend all manager and district manager meetings

  • Must ensure that all employee logistics and scheduling are in sync

  • Maintain daily reports on sales through the online database

  • Must ensure that all equipment is maintained, cleaned and serviced to ensure maximum production

  • Coordinate equipment cleaning among each staff member

  • Coordinate all product ordering through Sam’s Club, Coca-Cola and Lisanti

  • Coordinate all facilities management:
    – Pest control
    – Grease trap cleaning
    – Laundry and linen supply

  • Maintain and submit budget analysis and sales targets

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Management experience (min. 1–3 years) managing a fast-paced fast-food, fast-casual or full-service restaurant (Chipotle, Chick-fil-A, Smashburger, etc.)

  • Experience in implementing cost-saving measures, hiring talented people that fit in with our brand identity, providing amazing customer service and having the ability to converse with all types of people ranging from corporate senior management and franchisees/investors to staff and customers

  • Ability to TRAIN and LISTEN to the needs of the business and environment. Ability to assist in local marketing efforts targeting the offices around the store (5 miles)

  • Passion: someone who sees the potential to grow with the company

  • Ability to handle all positions when necessary – if a time comes when you have to cook/grill, there’s no hesitation and you’re willing to do so – you lead by example

  • Tech savvy in working with a complex, innovative POS to providing reports to senior management

  • Ability to carry out the brand vision of community and fostering care for the employees, which in turn will ensure brand integrity
