Server Roles + Responsibilities
Our servers’ primary objective is to provide the highest level of customer experience from start to finish. Maintaining a high morale among all involved is key. Be able to separate your personal and professional life. A great server should have the ability to make every customer smile.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide friendly, fast and accurate service in order to ensure an excellent customer experience
Must be a friendly person that loves to smile and meet people :)
Excel in performing essential tasks including order taking, sandwich stylist and other work stations as necessary
Maintain friendly, fast and accurate service, ensure an excellent customer experience and make sure all products are consistent with company standards
Ensure the restaurant is up to company standards with regard to cleanliness, organization and customer accessibility
Obtain food handlers’ ServSafe certification
Must attend all meetings held by managers
Must ensure that all front-of-house equipment is clean and well maintained
QUALIFICATIONS
Cashier experience (min. 1–3 years) cashiering a fast-paced fast-food, fast-casual or full-service restaurant (Chipotle, Chick-fil-A, Smashburger, etc.)
Good verbal and written communication skills are necessary. The ability to read, write and comprehend instruction is necessary
Math ability: this position requires basic math skills
Computer skills: basic computer skills are required in order to operate point-of-sale systems (cash registers)
Ability to TRAIN others and LISTEN to the needs of the customer and environment
Ability to assist in local marketing efforts targeting the offices around the store (5 miles)
Passion: someone who sees the potential to grow with the company
Ability to handle other work stations when necessary – if the time comes when you have to become a sandwich stylist, you are willing to do so without hesitation – you lead by example
Carry out the brand vision of community and fostering care for the employees, which in turn will ensure the brand integrity
